Bimodal Alumina Micro Powder

Bimodal Alumina Micropowder is produced using low-sodium alumina as the main raw material without any additives. It is calcined at a high temperature of 1300–1500℃ in a tunnel kiln, then ground by specialized ball milling equipment and unique ball milling technology.
Replacing single-modal normally distributed calcined alumina with bimodal or multi-modal activated alumina can reduce water addition, improve workability, disperse the matrix more effectively, and better regulate the setting and hardening of castables. It is especially suitable for the production of permeable bricks and self-flowing castables.
